Amazing Facts about Starfish for Kids
Starfish come up in a wide range of colors and sizes, but the most common ones are red, orange, yellow or purple. Their colors help them blend into their environment. This is one of their ways they hide from predators that are trying to eat them. What color did y'all draw your starfish?
Starfish tin regenerate any of their multiple arms. Considering a starfish can regrow its arms they are able to get away from predators. How do they do this? They tin let a fish that's trying to eat them have away only their arm allowing the starfish to survive. They tin abound back that missing arm! How absurd is that?
I wonder if a starfish's parents even bother to warn them to "be careful" when they become out to play with their friends?!!!
When you lot think of a starfish, yous think of the v-limbed species. This is actually a common misconception every bit there are many species that have more than five arms. For case, the dominicus star has 40 arms! The next fourth dimension your mother asks you to carry in some groceries, think how helpful it would exist to have xl artillery 🙂
